The Riftbreaker is a base-building survival game that also includes some Action-RPG elements. Play as Captain Ashley S. Nowak, the Riftbreaker, an elite scientist/commando wearing a powerful Mecha-Suit. You took a one-way portal to the distant planet of Galatea 37, in the Sycorax belt of the Milky Way galaxy, to set up a base that will permit the travel between this planet and Earth, so the expansion of the colonization can keep progressing. "Mr. Riggs", as Ashley calls her Mecha-Suit, has everything you need to explore the planet, to withstand the harshest environmental conditions, and has a full range of equipment for base construction, resource extraction, gathering specimens, and also combat. The suit is capable of traveling through rifts that connect space across vast distances.
The game uses a base defense system mechanic, where you have to balance building up your defenses to resist large waves of enemies that keep growing, but also keep enough resources available to reach your end goal to build the portal. Don't neglect to create research stations to utilize new technology and build more objects or exploring the planet to find more resources. With your Mecha-Suit, you will often find large scale battles, similar to Diablo battles, making this game incredible interesting and fun to play.

If you do not have a Steam account, you will need to download the client from the official website, install it and then create your account. Once you are logged into your account, click on "Add game" in the bottom left corner and then on "Activate product on Steam".
