FALLBACK is a post-apocalyptic world where humans have been driven deep underground by widespread eco-disasters. But humanity’s trials are not over. Soon, their robot caretakers turn on them, becoming their captors instead. An uprising has started but can do nothing without their captured leaders. As a rebel volunteer, it is up to you to free your leaders from their jailers.
Explore a vast underground city complex filled with hostile robots. Navigate through randomly generated rooms as you try and reach your goal. The Vesta robot army stands in your way, and they are legion, becoming more powerful as you go. Beware of smart missiles, laser turrets, heavily armored units, and powerful bosses, all hell-bent on stopping you. Try, die, and try again in this rogue-lite platformer.
But you aren’t helpless. Choose from one of six classes of warriors to counter the robotic threat: The Sapper, who can burn his foes; The Seismologist, who can damage enemies from a distance; The stealthy Technophobe, who can kill with a strike; The Biochemist, master of poisons; The Holomaster, who can teleport, and; The Geometer, who can dash and attack with rapid strikes.
FALLBACK includes the Uprising update, which introduces a new level filled with pitch-black darkness and even more challenging enemies. Will you escape this post-apocalyptic hell, or will you doom the rest of mankind with your failure?
