Space colonization has been humanity's dream for ages, and you are about to contribute to it by working in one of the colony systems in the outskirts of the galaxy. The Halcyon colony is a place controlled by megacorporations and a heavenly place full of commodities and services that will make your life quite pleasant. Or that's what you have been told, at least.
In The Outer Worlds, you wake up on a colonist ship that has been lost in transit for decades. As you arrive at the Halcyon colony, you will find that the reality is quite different from what you expected and get involved in a conflict where the many factions that populate the place are fighting for power. You will have to find a ship, build a crew, and explore the different settlements that form the colony as you try to survive in this crazy world where corporations control every aspect of life.
The Outer Worlds is a player-driven story role-playing adventure where every decision you make will affect everything and everyone around you in a universe that seems to have gone awry. As you learn more about the Halcyon colony, you will find yourself immersed in a conspiracy that threatens to destroy it. It will be up to you if you decide to find out what has caused all this and if you want to help to find a solution for it or you are just busy enough trying to surivive by yourself.

If you do not have a Steam account, you will need to download the client from the official website, install it and then create your account. Once you are logged into your account, click on "Add game" in the bottom left corner and then on "Activate product on Steam".
