It's a space RPG adventure that takes place 50 years before the events in Beyond Good and Evil, in the 24th century, during a period of time where mankind has expanded through the stars successfully thanks to the creation of human-animal hybrids. The game takes place at System3, a rich interstellar system focused in commerce and business.

The life at System3 isn't easy for hybrids. They are treated as slaves and considered the lowest class in the society, what causes that many of them end to escape, trying to be free, even if they end as outlaws and pirates in the sector.

You will start as a human or one of those hybrids in Beyond Good and Evil 2. You will be a low-class person trying to make a place for yourself in a huge seamless open universe full of different races and cultures, where a great business opportunity could lie behind any corner. You will begin your adventure with an old space tuk-tuk, and whatever you can achieve from there, only depends on you.

The game features a whole solar system to explore, with multiple worlds full of life and opportunities. You will be able to pilot spaceships, assemble a crew, fight anywhere and pretty much, do whatever you want in this open-world title that still has a lot of surprises to reveal.
