Get ready to experience one of the most famous slasher films of the horror genre in a way you have never done before. Friday the 13th: The Game will take you back to Camp Crystal Lake in 1958, where the grim legend of one of the most prolific serial killers started. You will take on the role of one of the teen counselors from the camp, and along with six other people, you will try to escape from an iconic force of murder that won't stop until he slaughters you all. Or you could play as Jason Voorhees himself, stalking your prey and choosing the best moment to bring them a gruesome death. Friday the 13th: The Game focuses on asymmetrical multiplayer matches. Eight players take part in every game and one of them is randomly chosen as Jason, so it's more likely that you will be a teenager. As one fo those you will have to evade the killer and try to find key objects that are spread all over the map. Those objects will allow you to eventually escape via one of three different ways: using a car, using a boat or calling the police. Or you might want to try and take on Jason... It's up to you if you try to survive collaborating with others or on your own. If you are playing as Jason, you will have several ways of killing your targets, each of them as gory as the previous one, and you will be able to unlock even more, as well as six different looks for your favorite killer, including two never seen before. Everything in the game setting is designed to match perfectly what you remember of the cult movies you love and know, recalling the gloomy atmosphere of the 1980's original films and providing you with a sense of familiarity that helps a lot with the immersion. It's Friday the 13th. Will you kill or be killed?
