The sequel to Pathologic is a narrative-driven thrilling story that will make you face our own mortality in a very unusual way. You will play as Haruspex, a doctor that travels to the secluded town where he grew up as a request from his father. You left the place a long time ago and moved to the city to finish your studies, but as you arrive at the place you will discover a horrible truth. The local healer is dead, the town is afflicted by a plague and the citizens are dying. You can't deny them assistance because of your Hippocratic oath, but the terrible truth behind all this is that you won't be able to save the majority of them either.

Through the course of twelve days, Pathologic 2 will have you attending the sick people and fighting against the disease, facing situations where you can't win. In this survival thriller, the time is limited and managing it is of utmost importance if you want to discover the origin of the plague and manage to help some of the inhabitants of the place. Also, you are facing the risk of contagion too, something that will have you in permanent tension as you try to save the others.

As you try to keep at bay an invisible enemy that you can't beat, which comes in the form of the terrible plague that afflicts the place, you will have to keep yourself alive too, and in such a dramatic situation of scarcity and sorrow you might have to do things that you never thought you would do just to survive.
