A dark and foreboding chapter awaits Agent 47 in Hitman: Contracts. As the third installment of the Hitman franchise, Contracts finds the legendary assassin bleeding out in a hotel room after being ambushed by a corrupt French inspector. In a daze, his mind relives various contracts he has undertaken in the past, coloring each deadly episode with a dark atmosphere.

Several levels in Contracts are remastered versions of missions in previous Hitman games, with improved graphics, mechanics, and weapons. New missions involve taking out corrupt leaders, gun runners, and murders in Kamchatka, Romania, and England. Jesper Kyd's haunting and hypnotic score pervade each mission.

The stealth mechanic returns with Agent 47 being able to wear disguises taken from incapacitated enemies. Collect weapons from your successful contracts for use in future missions. Take out enemies stealthily, or go all out and mow them down with full-automatic fire. You can also set up kills to look like accidents. You will be rated for your subtlety, which can range from Silent Assassin to full-on Mass Murderer. Hitman: Contracts lets you play the master assassin as you want. The only condition is the contract is fulfilled.
