The Total War series developed by Creative Assembly is one of the greatest strategy games franchises, well known for its historical aspect. Total War: Warhammer changes the setting, taking place in the fantastic universe of Warhammer. Total War: Warhammer will put you in the midst of a merciless struggle, where each faction tries to impose its domination on the Old World while destroying its enemies. But a still greater threat hangs over the Old World: the Chaos Warriors coming from the north, spreading death in their path and wanting to establish the reign of the Dark Gods. In Total War: Warhammer, you can play with four different factions: The Empire The Empire is played in a similar fashion to the traditional Total War factions, with diplomacy playing a major role in the early stages of the campaign, while the rest will focus more on battles, especially with the Empire being attacked by Chaos. The Empire has a balanced range of units with many options. This wide range also offers a great flexibility in terms of strategy, with various types of cavalry and artillery or mages. With highly specialized units, you will need to find the best combination to balance the strengths and weaknesses of each of them. The Greenskins Including orcs, goblins, trolls, giants, and spiders, the Greenskins have a wide variety of units, allowing them to adapt to any situation on the battlefield. Greenskins live only to fight and too long periods of peace could lead them to kill each other, so you must keep them in a state of permanent war in order to prevent that your army does not annihilate itself. The resolution of tribal quarrels will be essential to unite them and create a Waaagh!. The Vampire Counts Heroes and Vampire Counts buildings can generate vampiric corruption in the provinces of the campaign map. The Vampire Counts have no ranged units, so you'll have to fight melee. With their infantry, fast cavalry and many magical units, combined with panic immunity and excellent flying units, the Vampire Counts are excellent in aggressive attacks and bold maneuvers. Mastering necromancy allows necromancers to bring warriors back to life into battle, enabling you to grow your ranks. Dwarfs The Dwarves, unlike the Vampires, are experts in the war of attrition. Dwarves are a defensive faction, requiring patience, focusing on stable lines of defense, overwhelming firepower and steady progress rather than brilliant maneuvers. The solid defensive aspect of the Dwarves is very effective, but you will have to be especially cautious and adopt the right strategy. The Dwarves also have very good magic resistance, although they cannot use it. They also have the ability to move underground in order to cross dangerous territories or to take enemies from behind. Total War: Warhammer also has many DLCs to further enrich your gaming experience.
